Perfection. How is the typing experience?
The brass plate makes it stiffer than the other setup which is alu + tactiles. Still, it’s so far the best sounding 60% brass plate kit i have, same thing for the feedback i get with keypresses. Especially the spacebar.
Is that a GMK set? If so, which one?
Yes it is. It’s GMK Classic Retro with the Korean beige alphas that was run separately.

what foam did you use?
mkultra 4mm plate foam, ~2mm foam i got at michael’s and cut myself under the PCB.

Nice. One thing to be aware of is 4mm foam won’t fit between the PCB and bottom case, I tried with one from mkultra and it was too thick.
Do you have a favorite?
Hmm that’s a tough call. I think if I had to pick one, it’d be the orion, since I love the way brown alps feel and sound. But each one brings something unique to the table, so I find myself swapping between them all constantly.
