Fun little working AlphaSmart for my daughter who is learning to read. Just rebuilt it with box pinks and hopefully we’ll be hearing a lot of clicking in the future.

HHKB came in! Traded my white pro classic for this black one with a friend. Dome swapped with 55g domes from my R2, and silenced with silence-x rings; sounds amazing!

Pup wanted to help showcase my current keyboards!

  • Ganss GK87 w/ Cherry MX Browns
  • Vortex Racer 3 w/ Gateron Milky Yellows
  • NK65 Aluminum V2 w/ Tealios V2’s

Not much, but excited to start growing my collection!

That’s a great progression!

I always wanted the Racer 3 before I built the kbd75 and I am happy I didnt get it since that escape key size is madness.

Yeah I didn’t realize it was an odd size when I purchased it years ago hah. But its compact size works well for me as an office keyboard!

Love the Vortex Race3, it’s one of the best prebuilts in my humble opinon. Sure, the Esc and Del keys are 1.5u odd sized, but I think they serve to give good stagger to the F-row. And, given the top quality DSA keycaps and fun colors, I highly doubt they need to be replaced!

PBT Notion arrived today, and was very excited to throw it on the Milk Thermal!

Highlight colors look very nice! Are those dye-sub or colored plastic?

thanks! you have pretty good eyes and artisan recall to recognize that ko cap as it was so blurry

NK Acceptable Quality guidelines imply reverse-dyesub, but I believe that the document covers all future sets as well. Looking at the colored keycaps, they look like solid colored plastic keys with normal dyesub for the legends.

Popping back in a week later because Nashville’s own one-man synth band Makeup And Vanity Set is working on a Batman: The Animated Series tribute album:

No way! Awesome

Finally finished this up today! I got a G80-3000 replacement PCB awhile back & found a old G81-1000 case it fit in. Painted the case, put some hyperglide MX reds (spring swapped to 55g progressive springs, lubed with 205g00/105) & pre retool Cherry screw in stabs on the PCB (lubed with 205g0), threw it together with a matching USB-mini cable I had, then topped it off with GMK Oblivion V2!

Oh my. You matched that case paint perfectly. The alpha and numpad colorway steps so nicely into the darker colored mods. Beaut.

wow, I never thought I’d see GMK on a cherry board like that, but it suits the aesthetic of the set perfectly. love the deskmat too.
