Yall got any buckling spring keyboards?
Yep. 3 Model M, 1 Model M SSK, one new Model F 62, and one Unicomp SSK.
that must be so nice
Two Model M boards here. A 1998 IBM terminal board from the UK factory, and a 2014 GE Medical board made by Unicomp.
Currently running an ibm 3101 and it’s cost cut (close) little brother 3104 b2 most of the time when it comes to vintage, though sometimes some alps and space invader boards when I get the urge

Hello and welcome!
Alas, I don’t have any buckling springs (yet) - probably the closest thing in my collection is this:
They’re Mitsumi Linears that sound like so many squeaky mattresses, but it is gen-u-ine retro. The pictured Commodore 64 has been converted to a functional USB keyboard - a great way to keep an otherwise non-functional computer usable.
Quite a few (with more to come!)
Model M2, Model M (2nd gen), Model M (3rd gen), Model M5-2, Model M 122 (Type 3), Model F XT, Unicomp Mini M.
Unfair
Right now I just got one buckling spring keyboard in my collection. A Model M made in 1990 that is in very good shape. I got it mostly just to have a really nice Model M in my collection, but will use it from time to time when the mood hits me. I do want to get a Model F for my collection too, but the right opportunity for me to grab one hasn’t popped up yet. Being honest though I focus much more on ALPS & Cherry boards when it comes to vintage KBs.
You could say I have some buckling spring keyboards… Maybe it’s a problem, but I ‘cope’ by saying they’re just content for my website (https://sharktastica.co.uk/) where I document and write about them. I love them all dearly though.
Here’s some highlights:
I am a proud owner of a new Model F77.
The original XWhatsit controller has been swapped to a Leyden Jar controller, an open source controller project of me: The Leyden Jar, a tentative PCB replacement for the Brand New Model F Keyboards
