Oh god and you have the obese enter key too
Actually itâs gqemr according to that keyboard
gq?er if touch typing
Close; I run a machine that is more or less from France.
It has all kinds of fun phrasings in the UI; I think my favorite is that it calls the shutdown sequence the âextinction processâ.
Awesome terminology, Iâm going to use that all the time from now on.
A friend of mine has a cheap plotter, and whenever itâs running it displays on screen
" NOW IS CUTTING
"
Itâs a Chinese machine, but I like to imagine an enthusiastic Slavic person saying it.
(cheap plotter vibes - now is cutting, always cutting, cutting is life)
Heâs also got a heat press that plays an old left-over greeting card tune instead of a buzzer when the timer goes off. Itâs got real âglory of communist laborâ vibes. The best part is that when you dis-engage the press when the âbuzzerâ is going, the tune just sort of slows down and trails off instead of just stopping.
(cheap heat press vibes - glory to the makers of custom shirts)
IDK something about poorly translated or otherwise slap-dash interfaces gives me the chuckles.
I think that enter key is more obease than i am lol
I wonât link it here, but Tfue got in trouble some years back for using the N-word in a couple videos, notably a Minecraft one.
China on the offense with cheap, double-shot ABS clone keycap sets! These might actually look close to the real GMK sets. Double-shot PBT and Dye Sub PBT rarely match the GMK colors or vibrancy.
I guess China isnât as affected by the global ABS shortage since they make most of it, lol.
Shame about the legends on Shift and Backspace though. Looks like they tried to go very small on the legend and they arenât super clean. You have to scroll down to find an actual product picture and not a render.
Also, donât forget:

Honestly, for <$50 shipped for a superkit, itâs not like they have to actually look too close to the real thing to be a hell of a deal, and yet they seem to pretty well. Stuff like Cubic was ~1/2-2/3 the cost of a GMK set and wasnât even close to the legends quality.
Colorway debate duly beaten with at least one dead horse, itâs not a bad time to be shopping for caps on a budget that could pass the 10ft or 5ft test.
They are made by a manufacturer called aifei, who used to make dyesub gmk clones. They seem to be available on taobao for 20ish dollars and are color matched to the sets pretty well. Their recent kitting has gotten a lot better(incl 7u alpha bar and f13 :o ), and for 20$ they are a steal imo.

Got my HHKB (insert word salad here) today. Itâs direct from the Fujitsu store on Rakutan and I ordered it through âFrom Japanâ and I was not disappointed with them. Definitely will be using them in the future.
Of course, I modified it immediately by adding the Red and Blue keys.
I posted this in the wrong thread.
Yâall see those Gateron aluminum caps zeal is selling? Hmmmm
CannonKeys is showing Aluminum Mizu tooâŚ
But look at these Gateron caps. I just keep going âhmmmmâ. The font seems comically large to me. Maybe itâs because theyâre so thick?
