This thing (picture courtesy of some random Reddit post)
It literally makes no sense. Itās wireless yet it uses a metal case and has no option to connect it with a cable, and to add to that the layout just makes no sense since itās flat. Itās less ergonomic than a standard keyboard.
I donāt get why designers donāt do Maltron-styled keyboards which are actually comfortable to use. My last experience with a flat split (Sofle V2) left me with even more wrist pain than a standard keyboard.
Why do you think that is? I would think the main difference between a standard keyboard and a flat split is that the latter allows a more comfortable shoulder and wrist position, even if, yes, itās missing other standard ergo features.
Jeez, how lame. Colors is one thing being an arguably grey area - nothing grey about this one.
I like how itās a shameless ripoff down to the logo, but you can still immediately tell itās a knockoff because the proportions are different. The āTHIS IS PLASTICā is much smaller on the spacebar here.
Not because I think theyāre going to post it, but that perhaps someone reviewing might actually take some action.
I have a lot of problems with people claiming one colorway or another canāt be used anymore because such-and-such key set already used it, but this is just a blatant counterfeit of a unique visual style on a keycap set. Right down to to the logo no less. Yes, even if the original itās inspired by some well known designerās style.
Also, not to mention that one of MelGeekās boards has this badge that looks a ton like RAMAās. A bit of a party foul at the time, but this is a complete rip of a totally redeemable keycap design.
I saw these on ebay recently as well when searching for xda keycaps. Probably the most blatant clone Iāve come across yet. I actually had to do a double take on the listing descriptions looking for a mention of MelGeek since they are such a direct clone and I thought āSurely no one would have that much raw audacityā.
Oh, I see what you mean. Maybe I was missing something then. I didnāt know that was a genuine keyset. I spotted that on a site for blatant clones. Hereās another gem ā Keyborad Keycaps. Nice.
This exists, kinda reminds of me of the bi flag. No idea why they chose those colours or those legends, they look really funky. And yes, this is stock.
