Thank you so much! My plan was to try that oring gasket mod, so I think that other one is what I need.
If you take measurements, I can add support for the next round of boards. Dremel is also an option.
For the record, the PCB was mostly designed last year and in production since January, so sorry for missing an additional opportunity for compatibility. Can we agree on an O-Ring standard yet?
Oh yeah, I got my replacement layer the other week.
I had forgotten about it. Am I supposed to unscrew the previous layer, and then screw the new one to the assembly? Currently, I am using the replacement as a spare holder for outdoors.
It finally came! Happy for you =D
(also happy bc that means Kara is soon)
For me, I can do without the right shift. So I just mapped R-shift, R-alt, R-menu, R-ctrl as the permanent arrow cluster
GMK replacement spacebars for 9009 R3.
The green ones in particular seem to be straighter, especially the 6.25.

aka Aqua Kings, Everclears
Holy moly are these things stable. Minimal N/S wobble, and as close to none E/W as I’ve experienced.
The one I happened to grab out of the bag has a hint of lube-tackiness, but boy is it smooth. Very much looking forward to putting these through their paces.
EDIT:
Could you swap the bottom housings with Snow Whites if you get the chance during your testing?
I’ll definitely be trying other components with them, but I don’t have any Snow Whites yet.
Ok so I am not crazy! The batch of 70 I got from Thocckeys definitely felt sluggish to me, I got the 62g ones too! I do agree with everything else you said & do believe once cleaned + properly relubed they’ll really shine. So I ordered 90 more of 55g ones from Dorp along with a 108 pack of Momoka Frog switches. Dorp got lucky on that one that they had both & I don’t need either in a hurry, otherwise I would’ve got them elsewhere!
Took a chance on of these coiled aviator cables from Kono store. Very happy with the quality for price on them! Especially considering it has a mini XLR connector! I just got it today & all seems well, but I’ll update this post if anything goes south with it. Then I also finally got my first Microdose from ResinParty, it’s the Akira colorway!
I got some Aqua Kings & Snow Whites. What you want me to try? Just use a Snow White bottom housing with an Aqua King top, stem, & spring to see if it fits?
Duuuude, you’d be doing me a solid for sure. Snow Whites (or H1s) have those soft bottoms, and what @Deadeye mentioned about Aqua King’s stability and minimal stem wobble, last left to check was how much housing wobble you get since they’re from two different vendors.
Dealers choice on the spring, but your first impression on push and feel would be appreciated buddy.
Not many other tops fit on Bobas, but I’ll see if these will since those are pretty soft.
Will do, I’ll mess it with here & get back to you in a little bit!
So I just swapped 3 Aqua king top housings, stems, & springs onto 3 Snow White bottoms. Definitely a viable mod, everything fit together just fine. You could definitely get away with out filming them as housing wobble is basically non existent even after swapping. Same goes for stem wobble, it retains the super tight tolerances of Aqua Kings.Push feel wise they feel pretty much identical to Aqua Kings TBH, smooth but a bit sluggish. I did wipe the the factory lube off the Aqua King stem so suspect they are bit bigger than Snow White stems. Although I think properly cleaning off the factory lube of the Aqua Kings, then properly lubing them with something like 205g0 would go a long way to fixing that. Sound wise they’re pretty much identical as the Aqua Kings loose, take that with a grain of salt as Snow Whites do use a different softer plastic. So in a board the combo may sound softer than all stock parts Auqa Kings. Especially if using a full plate & stiffer setup.
