yeah that, but also more of a muted cyan letters color too, like that enter key looks straight out of skeletor imo haha. I’m sure once I find a board for it to call home I’ll warm up, it’s just not what I was expecting when I opened the box
That’s exactly how I felt about nautilus vs the original renders. The light blue just didn’t pop. Still not a huge fan of the set. But I do like the set you have in your photo. Would look cool on a silver or white board for sure.
I got mine in on Friday. I actually like the blue in the legends but I don’t think I’ll keep the accent key on for long
Gaskets, pads, springs, and lube from 3DKeebs.
Decided to try some of that thick stab stuff, which I am now mentally referring to as titanium peanut butter - I also couldn’t resist the temptation to mess around with 150g longboi springs.
Let us know how those springs feel like. I’ve been wanting to deck out switches with those heavy springs.
I put some of those stronk springs in a few test switches this evening; I think my main takeaway so far is that a spring this heavy will accentuate any wobbliness already present in the switch.
I tried them in a Gat Yellow, a KTT Lightwave V2, and a Momoka Frog; the latter of which is the only one of the three that didn’t have my finger feeling like it was teetering on the way down.
For what it is, I like it - I could see using them for an ESC key, or perhaps a gaming macro pad for a sim of some kind where you want that [ important button ] feel.
If you want to exercise your fingers, these might be a good option. Rolling across the three of them for a few moments brought to mind a sort of competitive mania… MUST SMASH KEYS…
150g froggos would be an ideal switch for flower-sniffer, there.
WHO CAN MASTER THE 150 WPM / 150G / 150 MINUTES CHALLENGE!?!1 AHHHHH

Love me some box navies.
Lol. I have been on a quest to eat all the flavors like some sort of hot chicken ramen infinity gauntlet.
Those are some of the best noodles out there! So good!
Had one straight away.
Haha cant feel my lips
I’ve tried like over 100 variations of instant ramen and this one is still my favorite (I always add 2 eggs, you should always add 2 eggs):
I love Kimchi ramen and add some exra kimchi in. Also Tonkotsu Ramen from japan are really good.
I don’t think Odong-tong is widely available yet in the States but had this recently and can say it’s pretty good. Odong-tong means slightly fat which I presume applies to the noodle thickness.
UPDATE: For the full experience, put some cold rice into it after you’re done with noodle. Cold rice makes it more chewy when in the soup.

How Koreans do it.
Well, it also applies to myself after a year of working from home.
18 per whole pack or 18 per ten?
They come in packs of 45 switches each (which is an unusual amount, it should probably be 30 or 60).
This is part of the AKKO CS series, which is 3 colours for 3 types [tactile, clicky, linear, I think].
They are said to be among the best-value switches on the market. Mine cost $10 + $8 shipping from the AKKO website, making it $18 USD to have 45 delivered.
I’m testing a couple right now. I guess you could call them “lesser Pandas.” They seem to have a Panda / U4T-like bump, but less intense. And at a relatively low weight. So they’re like a medium-tactile, although on the higher end of that.
They have a sort-of thocky noise unlubed, although it is higher pitched than either Pewter or SP Star Meteor or lubed U4T.
I guess you could plug these right into a cheap hotswap like a KBD67 Lite / NK65 and have the cheapest Panda-like keyboard imaginable.
According to the AKKO website, it’s two linears (the AKKO CS Matcha Green and AKKO CS Rose Red) and one tactile (the AKKO CS Ocean Blue). Thanks for reminding me about these since I hadn’t got my hands on any of these yet! ![]()
EDIT: Wish they had a clicky option ![]()
