HP Vectra CS - also got some killer dye sub PBT alps keycaps from it as well.
Not my photos mine are in a bag awaiting the hydrosonic cleaner.

Those keycaps look amazing
Tecsee has only recently begun to pick up its production as well as its quality. I have some of the earliest Tecsee factory samples as well as some original stuff like Invyr V1 prototypes.
They’ve really come a long way - hope you enjoy them mate!
He has been teasing that 3in1 switch for years now. Once that hits the market, he will have something hot again…
TBH I am not so sure about that. I really think he’s having major issues getting them working taken the time it’s been since they were announced. Really not sure why he wouldn’t just create a different line that uses ALPS style actuation/tactile/click in their own switches. There I think he’d have a hot new batch of products everyone would be clamoring for. The 3 in 1 is gonna have to be opened & have the leave swapped or modified in some way to get clicky & tactile leaves. So that just seems like a clusterf*ck the more I think about it. Given how delicate the internal parts of ALPS switches are the last thing you want to be doing is messing with the leaves a lot. That leads to very inconsistent feeling switches across a batch when done with ALPS IME.
I guess time will tell & I really hope Zeal can get figure a way out to stick around. He’s done a ton of good for the community & is an innovative mind. So it would definitely be a blow to the community to lose his products altogether.
I’d think there will be more demand for ALPS in MX form factor than 3-in-1, meaning the design should just use same parts to make different switches, a much easier design task.
i’ll buy the accent enter off anyone who doesn’t particularly need theirs! looks like TU2 cyan.
So true. Although his stabs, specially the sliders, are still my goto. Recent mod techniques aim to recreate these tolerances, but the extra time and material to do so might not be worth the trouble.
Acer clicky switches. So, these are the worst feeling keycaps I’ve ever used. Feels like a goddamn chalkboard or finish coat sandpaper.
I guess the advantage here is that you could probably file your nails on them as you work…
I actually like the switch feel quite a lot. Feels like a genuine Alps switch to me. They are slightly less tactile than white or blue switches. If it didn’t have those built-in stabilizer caps I might consider swapping out with another alps set.
Got some Hippos for me and Morgrie stabs to mod a friend’s GMMK Pro, whenever it arrives.
The way the plastic of the Hippo switches looks, it reminds me of opaque gummi candy - or maybe marshmallow or dyed marzipan. The vaguely yellowish-clear of the stem almost looks like nasal ejecta; a little out of place next to such a pleasant, soft, floral color - but it’s not like I’ve seen UHMWPE stems look much different.
They feel nice and smooth; no surprise there.
Kailh switch opener. Good bye pin stabbed fingers
Damn, that one is thicc.I didn’t realize how solid the inner walls were.
Truly beautiful.
Gazzew Black U4Ts in 62g and 68g weights. One of my favorite switch pictures I’ve ever taken to be honest…
Coworker: What is that?
Me: Nothing.
Coworker: No seriously, what is that?
Me: Happiness.
Some Crystal Royals; partly because 5 pins, partly because I’ve joined those spooked by any BOX switch that’s possible to confuse with the early stem breakers (RIP, MT3 WOB)
Some TTC Gold Blues, because dampened clickies exist outside of frankenswitching now
and
Love the wood caps. Who did those?
