Both of those colorways are fantastic!
Thanks. I’m thinking Polybius for the terrazzo for sure. Not sure what to try with the turquoise top yet. Maybe Fox or Wavez. It would also look snazzy with something black, too.
Nice review! I am glad that you like them
Here’s the build! I went with Tecsee Carrots and MT3 Camillo
@pixelpusher that Foundation looks AMAZING
Both of those tops look awesome, especially love the blue. Desperately trying to forget there will be extras for this ![]()
It’s gorgeous!
Love the cork bottom also;)
First, it’s wild how quickly I got these. They delivered before other vendors have even shipped things. My quest for a plastic HHKB case ended up pretty much where it began: with the D60 Lite. Once I saw that KBDFans sold the cases by themselves, that answered the question for me. There were two colors available and when shipping is as much as the case itself, of course you get both so that it’s a sensible decision.
They’ll be stowed away until the plate delivers but I’m hoping everything pans out with my plans for these.
Impeccable taste! That Tropical Turquoise is giving me sea glass vibes, man!!

Got my wooting 60HE in today, and it is great! Tried it out in Valorant and got a 30 kill game after adjusting the actuation point of the lekker switches. I’m debating on whether or not to buy the tofu 60 redux today and if the Pom jelly keycaps I originally planned on purchasing will be a good fit or not.
Picked up some TX AP long pole stabs, 3203, and a plate fork (all firsts for me) in a recent Divinikey sale:
Decided to take the plunge into soldering—just a rotary encoder on my Day Off 60 to start—but had zero in the way of soldering equipment. I’m dragging my feet a bit because I really don’t want to mess up this board before I can even use it, but watching a lot of tutorials.
Decided to go with the Pinecil and while poking around on the Pine Store, I noticed that they also sell a bunch of single board computers, so picked up a Rock 64 2GB computer and aluminum enclosure at the same time. Shipping was slow, but prices were very reasonable.
I’ve been interested in setting up a dedicated Pi-hole to kill all ads on our home network for years, but compatible Raspberry Pi options have been impossible to find at list price since the pandemic started, with most going for 5x list or more. Very excited to finally move forward on these projects!
Raspberry Pis are hard to find? I think I’m sitting on like three Pi 3’s and 2 Pi 4’s…
Might be time to log into eBay… ![]()
@ListlessLlama PiHole is great, and SUPER user friendly! I had it before I went deep down the pfSense hole.
If you have any questions after you get it stood up, hit me up via DM and I will help where I can and give you some solid blocklists.

The situation has improved over the past six months, but new Pi 4s are still going for 2x list or more from what I’ve seen on secondary markets and are still nearly impossible to find directly from the first line retailers. In February or March, the computer component guy at our local Micro Center all but laughed when I asked him if they had any in stock or expected a shipment soon. (Further background reading.)
Glad to hear you had a good experience with PiHole and I really appreciate the tech support offer! After a decade in our house and slowly buying all the required components, I’m finally devoting some time this summer to set up a better network. Nothing fancy at all (patch panel, network switch, PiHole, dedicated Cat 6 runs) but a big upgrade from the current setup (25 + 50 foot patch cables snaked up through old, unused air return ducts and along our baseboards).
Supposedly they’re not setup for producing a least a million a month, but being that this announcement was a while ago, I’m thinking it’s going to take a while to work down the backlog of folks wanting these. They sure let the community down by focusing on the commercial users. I get that this is likely more profitable for them, but we schmucks here in the cheap seats sure got the shaft.
Goods from RingerKeys:
Like so many other companies/sectors, it sounds like it was a perfect storm of surging demand and covid supply issues. I did find one website (can’t recall the company) that was a recommended Raspberry Pi vendor and still taking waiting list orders… with the caveat that it would be at least 18 months of waiting. Based on that, I’m hoping supply will catch up by mid-2024.
Couldn’t agree more. I absolutely understand why they (likely) did it, but it still sucks.
No picture just yet, but I got NuPhy Fleeting Gold switches in the mail yesterday. Like the previous releases, these have polycarb housings and POK stems. These particular examples are light tactiles.
So far they seem just as good as the first round, which is to say remarkably clean and smooth for a stock switch, especially considering the ~$0.40 price. First impression, these remind me a lot of Akko POM Browns, and that’s nothing but a good thing.
Said differently, I’ve been using these for three minutes and they’re already one of my very favorite light tactiles. In my perception, light tactiles are the most difficult common sub-type to execute well, and I think these folks nailed it.
Trivia: The labels for these indicate the factory considers “Glacier” to be the name of the series, and they use it for all four examples thereof - whereas NuPhy only uses it with the “Rose” ones as the first half of their name. Maybe they wanted the consistency of each name being two words, but personally I think “Glacier: Rose” makes slightly more sense than “Glacier Rose”.
Today I got my first ever pack of TX springs - TX XLs at 62 grams. The XLs are 18mm long standard springs. I plan to bag lube one pack with 105g0 and swap them into some dk Saru switches that I have, and I haven’t decided what to do with the second pack yet. Very excited!
I got 70 Dukharo MO Green v2 and a 65% keyboard bag. I found the listing for the switches and saw that it was new store on aliexpress with no reviews yet and gave it a shot. I paid €8 for the 70 decent Haimu switches
Killer deal on those switches! Ha, they use the same bottom as Epomaker’s overpriced Budgie switches.
This is my favorite basic sleeve to use for 65s or chunky 60s;
