I rebuilt my Vega last night (July 2022 build) using HMX Purple Dawn switches and SLK Dassau Dark. The switches, caps, and board all complement each other very well IMO, though I’m waiting on replacements for a number of poorly-aligned caps and my spacebar stabilizer tuning sounds terrible, as is tradition.
I generally prefer tactiles, but I’m really enjoying the Purple Dawn switches. Seconding @pixelpusher’s thoughts, but there’s a lot to love here if you’re into medium-heavy switches. They’re excellent stock and have great feedback without feeling too heavy. I’m surprised by how much I like them.
