What mouse do you use?

I’ll start off: I use a terrible old mouse that is partially broken. It is the Microsoft Comfort Optical Mouse 3000.

I really don’t like this thing and am looking for some good budget replacements.

What mouse do you use?

The Logitech G402. Been using it since its release. I use the side buttons for macros. It’s around £30 - 40 here in the UK, so it’s an entry level budget option.

Currently rocking the wireless egg, the Logitech G305, supplemented with an Elecom HUGE to prevent wrist strain.

Logitech MX Master! Slightly older version. Great mouse, I don’t really use all the buttons, but I am a big fan of the sideways scroll and back/forward buttons that you can configure on the thumb.

Big Elecom fan here. Have a Deft Pro for work and one for the home office. Occasionally use the HUGE when I want to try something else.

Home: Logitech G203

Work: Ducky Secret M

The G203 is a more modest version of one of their higher-end mouses; it’s light and has a great ambidextrous shape.

Love both of these, but the Ducky might be my favorite. PBT shell, decent weight, came with a desk mat. After one of the switches started to go, I replaced the two main ones with extra loud Kailh gaming mouse switches. HE CLICC

As far as I can tell they don’t stock it many places anymore, though - it looks to have been replaced by the Feather, which also looks like a good mouse - just a different kind altogether.

White Razer DeathAdder w/lizard skin grips and Omron Japan switches.

You’ve got the right idea with that 203, but why not step up to the 305? I’ve been daily driving one for 2 years now, and I love the mouse, super light, the batteries last for months on months, even at 1000hz, and its still got that classic egg shape.

I use a Logitech G403 at home and a Razer Imperator at work.

Aye - the 305 will most likely be the next mouse I pick up to use at home. I’ve had my eye on it for a while, I just keep buying switches instead. :stuck_out_tongue:

Can’t argue with that, I would recommend checking r/mousemarket or ebay, I got mine for 30 bucks and its never given me any trouble.

Did you do any mods to make it lighter?

I use a super cheapy mouse from this set. Amazon.com

I use it because the clicks are very quiet. After more than a year with this one mouse, I appreciate how well it’s held up. Once it dies, I’ll be tempted by better mice, but that day is not today

Rocking the Logitech G203 as well, really solid mouse for its price!
