What mouse do you use?

Now, now, you’ve heard of breaking-in switches, but have you heard of breaking-in mice?

I got a g305. it might replace my model o which has some quality issues

My neighbor who does a lot of CAD work uses 3Dconnexion’s stuff (left and right hand devices), and speaks highly of them. While I am no longer in the CAD world of things, I am tempted to try their mouse as an eventual replacement for my MX Master 3.

CadMouse Pro

Another Logitech MX ergo user here. I also use a touchpad for my daily work since the mac gestures are awesome.

Testing our latest mouse-Fit Pro, it will launch on Kickstarter next month. What makes it different? Swap in big and small grips to fit any online game, fit left and right hand, fit any grip style:)

I’m currently using a Keytronic branded beige mouse. I have no idea when it was made but its the only NOS USB one I’ve been able to find. Very decent for $10.

The next one I’m pondering is a Zowie ZA11 in Glossy White. It seems extremely pricey for what it is - but it’s the one that checks off the most boxes (ie: Looks like a normal office mouse, Glossy, No drivers/software, Wired, Large)

I just switched from the MX Master 3 to the Razer Basilisk V3. I love it. It has many customizable buttons, a flick-to-free-spin scroll wheel, and is great for both productivity and gaming. Would recommend.

No the best mouse, in terms of software. But it’s first mouse which survived a year

Welcome to keebtalk!

My final mouse ultralight 2 is still going strong after 2 years (kinda surprised tbh) but it still works great and is my favorite mouse I’ve used.

we are recruiting reviewers to test Fit Pro mice before launching on Kickstarter

Can vouch for Zowie glossy finish. It’ll feel a bit weird, at first, if you come from something with a more traditional matte finish, or the coating that logitech uses. The glossy white is, surprisingly, NOT a fingerprint magnet compared to the regular matte black zowie finish…which IS a fingerprint magnet (very much so)…that finish is also kinda icky when you’re hands get sweaty-ish. The glossy finish is the complete opposite…I wish zowie used it on their regular mice instead of these limited editions.

The finish is surprisingly grippy, and pleasant. I’ve not had it come off even after 4-5 years of daily use (Zowie EC1-A) so I can also vouch for the coating’s longevity if anything.

Zowie makes crappy scroll wheels though. I think the white ones feature a 24-step(?) scroll wheel that has terrible feed back. I bought a Zowie FK2, and tore it up solely for the 16-step scroll wheel with significantly better feedback (it also looks better). I’m still waiting for a white EC1-C to replace this one just cause I wanna try the new shape. That said, I can’t speak for the ZA11 cause I’ve never had one on hand.

Been using an original logitech mx master for work for the past 5 years or so? Love the shape and the weight of it. At home though, I use the logitech g pro wireless - it’s the perfect shape and i’m still amazed at the battery life that it gets. Earlier iterations of the g pro wireless had real bad issues with misclicking to where I gave up on it and got a razer wireless but i found the back hump of it was too low for my liking and the battery life left much to be desired.
