We call it svål which is a word for pig skin. :upside_down_face:

We, Romanians, call it Şorici.
And during the winter we like to eat it like this

never eaten much cracklin, but I love me some pork rinds :slight_smile:

Some of the better restaurants around here have started offereing fresh pork rinds as free appetizers instead of bread. Mmm… now I’m hungry.

My Grandmother (German/Hungarian) used to make these little rolls with crackling mixed into the dough. Really good stuff.

I see now that u diden’t ask me, but i just wrote it all down so I post it anyway. :upside_down_face:

Garlic and fennel sliced ​​on the thinnest setting on the mandolin.
Finely chopped spring onion, dill, parsley, apple and tomato, grated carrot and riped kale.
Cheese(the feta kind), green soybean, pasta, oil and spices.
And top off with Rhode island dressing.
