looks like it would work to me, I’ve personally used other brands of athletic tape before, and while it is a little thinner than bandaid material, I find especially when combined with a well lubed stab, it is more than satisfactory, and is much less wasteful than cutting up a bandaid for its fabric.
I guess it comes down to what sort of feel you’re looking for. Admittedly the Band-Aid is ever so slightly on the mushy side but it’s still very nice. I know some people are looking for a feel that is more similar to non-stabilize lube switches. I may experiment.

Call me a dreamer but this is an email I just sent to hhkb/realforce about bringing back hipro caps.
Who knows, maybe if they get more emails like this they’ll think about it.

Day 2 update: No response yet. Maybe I’ll get my niece to send some finger paintings. That’s sure to pull at their heart strings.
Day 3: Even the finger paintings didn’t work. Damn. Those cold hearted bastards. We’ll have to try something more drastic.
Day 4: Still no response. I’ve discovered their CEO types on a Razer Chroma. If news of this shocking betrayal were to get out, it would send shockwaves through the Realforce organization. I never thought I would resort to blackmail but desperate times call for desperate measures.
Day 5: It’s been days since my original email and still they haven’t replied. It seems they are as determined to smoke me out as I am to touch those delicious caps. Very well. We’ll see who can last the longest in this battle of wills.
Day 6: I’ve given up. I’ll probably just save up and buy some hipro boards.

Nothing big, just taking apart some old Halo Clears (actually, the ones that shipped with my old K-Type!) for Holy Boba parts. Pardon the messy desk, haven’t had time to clean up this little workspace for a grip (probably a good resolution for the new year).

That’s kinda how I’m feeling, I’ve had pieces for like three or four builds piling up over the last several months and everything is here, I just need to actually sit down to do it, and especially since there won’t be travel for christmas this year it seems like a good time to do it. I also have a bunch of stuff I need to get around to selling…
