Post Your Keyboards!

That is such an unbelievably clean M60!

Haha thanks a lot! Although the credit goes to me using the Dyson around the keyboard to clean up any errant dust particles before taking the photo

Oh man that sure looks nice! love the thick bezels. Seems to be some variant on the HHKB layout?

Yes, it is a modern rendition of the Apple M0110 keyboard, one of my all time favorites.

Very cool! Is it compatible with alps switches to get closer to the apple board? And if not what do you plan to put in it for switches?

I’m not sure. I imagine there may be a 60% PCB that supports Alps. I’m going to end up putting in lubed Glorious Panda switches as HPs have been my favorite feeling and sounding switches, especially with MT3 caps.

Good choice! MT3 is amazing. Ever since I first used MT3 it is now easily my favorite profile. MT3 WoB would look pretty slick on the board in my opinion.

An actually going to go with MT3 Susuwatari, as I have all the kits already. I may swap in PBT Ivory or KAT Space Cadet, if and when it ever arrives lol

I’m thinking of getting it cerakoted a different color. What do you think would look good with MT3 Susuwatari? White, the original light tan color, stay with the textured black?

Just a quick photo after soldering and the first test.
Not final yet, I am waiting for some keycaps.

Some hybrid layout between ISO, ANSI and JIS.

Maybe call it “Norwegian JINSO” ?

TOFU65, burgundy red
KBD65rev2
brass plate
Zilent V2, 78g
Zeal screw-in stabilizers
Signature Plastics keycaps

Even if not “official” mentioned on kbdfans’ homepage, the KBD67rev2 supports a long right shift.
That’s something I miss when using common compact layouts, the right shift is (for me) too short.
The brass plate required some filing, since it was not meant to be used with a long right shift either.
The CAPS key is my FN key, it will get a proper “FN” legend soon.
Some modifications to the layout in the info.json and the rev.h, and I was good to go…

My first GB board, the Infinitum! Still waiting on keycaps… (GMK Bushido got delayed :upside_down_face:)
Also the rest of your photos are so good! Gotta add figuring out picture quality on my to do list.

Great looking WKL.

I’m sure @Den-Fi could give more complete photo advice, but at least when it comes to my phone, I’ve noticed that the more light I have to work with, the better my photo tends to come out. It’s not like I have a proper setup, but if the sun is available, it’s my first choice for a light source.

I pulled out the scale to see just how light this plateless minivan would be, and what do you know.

I’m liking ortholinear a whole lot more than I expected! Kinda sad now that my all the rest of my boards will be getting less use now!

Please excuse the terrible picture. Photography is definitely not something I’m good at.

Board is equipped with nk blueberries spring swapped to 74g and lubed with krytox 205g0. I’ve got foam installed in the bottom of the case as well as between the PCB and plate. I cut the PCB foam from a regular sheet of Eva foam using an exacto knife and using the plate as a template for the holes. It was tedious cutting each switch hole out but it has improved the sound enough over just case foam that I think it was worthwhile.

Thanks!

I’ll post a better picture when the missing/final keycaps arrived.
