Things that make us go... hmmm

That advice has a remarkable number of applications.

Is it even a typo tho? As grody a flavor as that sentence has, it’s pretty much sound.

Too much lube in the switch tube makes little gross sounds, and that bullet point is… one way to describe a process that will alleviate the noise.

Cheeky.

One of these things is not like the other…

So, these appear to be the same keyboard – and in fact they are: the case, the firmware, the layout, the stabilizers… Except the lower keyboard hides a weird thing: the socket for the Enter key is three pin. Everything else is five pin. On the upper keyboard the Enter key socket is five pin.

You know, you’re probably right but wheeeeew that’s a sentence that showcases how much unintentional innuendo is in our hobby. You just gotta spread that lube on your pole to stop the farts, man.

Bubble air keycaps. I do not think it is the future NGL I would not mind trying for fun though

Oh that’s hilarious! I’d love to type on that.

These keycaps https://chosfox.com/products/porn-keycaps-129keys

Who is the target audience for them I wonder. Reminds me of…uhhh, these https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001490358763.html

Got to hand it to them, this is pretty clever and funny.

I really dislike the faces keycaps but I could see myself having one day a display piece with this keycap set if it looked more “formal” with just the sub-legends being different.

Well - it was as an original idea. This appears to be a loose clone of the more subtly-named GMK / DCS Incognito.

Seriously, I’m not sure you could get much more on the nose with that if you tried. But I will:

Coming soon: the even more off brand clone: MA Sturbation.

Did the original sets had those hilarious sub-legends? from what I’ve seen they only copied the colors but the sub-legends are original.

I know this isn’t the point but KGA profile? That may be a new one to add to the list.

Ha, I didn’t see that - yeah, I don’t think the DCS set has those. Pretty clever and funny indeed!

Did anyone notice the Tab key legend? (Sometimes it’s the things that are hidden in plain sight…)

Hmm… Did I have time to solder this afternoon at a normal hour? Yes. Does that mean I’m not going to fire up the old iron and melt some lead at 1am? No. For some reason there is something so alluring about tinkering after midnight.

Not exactly a hmm, but I heard you like keyboards, so we attached a keyboard next to your keyboard for maximum keyboarding.

I found one on sale last night, but it’s a little too pricey for a laugh.

I used to have one of these growing up, and it comes with some pretty decent music-mixing software (for the time). Like an early version of GarageBand. It was a pretty fun keyboard with the integrated wristrest

I bought one of these off eBay a few months back because - well a keyboard keyboard… Sadly the drivers are for XP or ME and there’s no way to get the music keyboard working. Such a shame. Even knowing that I’m still tempted to get this one too…

Has anyone done a force-curve test (sorry if my terminology is off) of popping bubble wrap? I’ve seen analogies made between different switches and bubble wrap a few times now, and I’ve even thought it myself from time to time. Just curious if there is any data on the matter.
