I have been thinking about getting this from Drop (off amazon). Did they do ok with shipping? I have heard a couple of people had broken caps arrive.

The box was smashed and the keys were all out of the trays. But thankfully nothing was broken.

I’ll be de-soldering a couple TKLs and a 65%, and then replacing their switches, among some other standard mods.

where did you get that switch gripper tool? I’m assuming you use it to grab the cruciform stem end?

That is a jeweler’s claw. They are about $5 on amazon. Super helpful, I love using mine.

Oof, I went to order this off Amazon today, and … out of stock. Feels bad. I guess I will pre-order on drop and wait till October.

Will it really take that long? I ordered mine from Drop and it arrived later that week. I don’t really understand how they run things over there.
Oh weird. Yeah, it’s listed as pre-order not in stock, and has a shipping date of Oct. But it’s been that way for a while now, and a drop run of 3 months. So maybe they are shipping them out as they get ordered. I know others were getting them on Amazon too.
