Nice! I got my FR-301 in last week, but sadly I’ve been so busy with work that I couldn’t fire it up – maybe this weekend. I hope it serves you well.
I won’t a Alexotos and Keyiliminati artisan giveaway and it came in today. Matches my Romeo pretty nicely.
I hate to write yet another samesies post, but totally have that awesome Skeletor pop on my desk at work. I like to think he gives enough edge to balance out the key co plushie that sits next to him.
I have been a huge Skeletor fan since the early 80s, and love having this figure on my desk all the time. I was with me at work, and now it’s with me at home since I have moved to work from home full time. This is also my fav pop figure due to how shiny his hood is. I wasn’t expecting it to be shiny like it is.
Finally got my keycaps from TKC today after ordering them a month ago… I ordered Dolch and I open the box to see WoB. not terribly mad though, disputing things with them but I have to say I love the coarseness of the ePBT doubleshots, they have a lovely texture to them and look great in my opinion, I attached a typing test on my tina-C with brass plate and sorbathane’d base.
actually i think i am more interested in the blade you have there.
Oh, hey! Look what showed up yesterday.
EDIT: Initial thoughts: I’m not a linear person, so I don’t feel super comfortable evaluating these as linears. What I can definitely say is that the progressive springs give it a feeling I’ve never felt in a stock linear! I’m not converted but, if I was gonna be?, it’d be by these, I think.
Housing/material make for a quieter and slightly higher-pitched sound than, say, pandas. Leaf is not particularly stiff, making it great for linear and low-mid-range tactile frankenswitches. Some definite N/S wobble with the stock stem, but almost no E/W wobble as best I can tell. Very cute colors.
That grey is really nice! My fjell is probably what I am most likely to say if you ask which of my keyboards is my favorite.
Some little mason jars for my growing switch collection; they look way too cool to be stuck in cardboard boxes.
I’m stealing this. I love this idea.
Dammit! That’s clean.
I got a 20-pack of 12oz jars; at the moment I have 61 switches in each, but there’s a bit of wiggle-room. They’d surely hold 68, maybe 80 switches.
Ye I think they swallow 80 and some change.
That looks pretty nice but it gets rid of the fun of swearing and digging through the bin of baggies looking for the right one and being sure it’s in there somewhere but just not being able to find it
Funny how the zip lock bags never work as efficiently in practice as they do in your head.
Lmao they don’t work efficiently in my head either
