This is what killed basically all silent MX switches for me, especially silent tactiles. I really tried to like my V1 78g Zilents, but after 3 months & me still not liking them I gave up on them. The only MX silent switches I have tried that I really liked so far is OG MX Zilents (Cherry silent bleck/red stem in Zealio housings). I heard GazzeW will or does already have silent linear stems for the boba housings so I may grab some of them in the future to try. Right now though I plan on using Invyr PE stems & 63.5g progressive springs with my boba housings whenever I finally get them.

Yeah, no point in using them if the break in period takes too long. To be more specific, it took around 6 months for mine to really smooth out.

I’m sure this is the wrong thread to continue blabbing on about the Kiwis so I apologize. Small update on tactility after swapping the springs between the Lilacs and the Kiwis. Conclusion: the Kiwi spring does aid a little bit in the tactility increase, but it’s mostly the Kiwi leaf. I put a U4 stem in to confirm my theory, and it was in fact more tactile in the Kiwi housing than the Boba housing, but at the cost of spring/leaf ping that is absent in the Boba housing (not worth the swap).

I usually get the plane pen AND the hammer with my orders. Not sure if its due to what I buy or not, but either way, my kid loves when the flash quark packages come in.

Got my Boba housings from GazzeW, my white Deskey switch films from PrimeKB, & a 3ml tub of 205g0 from Switchmod all in today! Unfortunately the person Krelbit has filling the lube in containers must’ve zoned out on this one cause there was maybe about a ml in it LOL! I already talked to Krelbit & he said he’ll be shipping me out a replacement so no big deal there. Thankfully it was just to stock up & I didn’t need the lube now.

I guess since review embargo is over; I got some Glorious pandas I’ll be streaming tonight. At work so no pictures yet, but possibly some pictures of my lube and the switches later

I love the way this set turned out but I cant for the life of me take a photo or tweak the contrast to look adequate to me, to be fair, my display isn’t calibrated, so I hope this isn’t a gross mess on your screen, but I hope it conveys how pretty this set is!
This set has strong GMK Necro vibes in terms of the way its turned out vs the renders, but I think it will become a classic in its own right once people accept it for what it is, not what it was supposed to be.
