Not sure. I do think the Class60 has an aluminum plate for the EC kit. Probably a better start. Also, if you went with something like Deskeys housing and sliders, that would help a lot too. I’ve used their products in OEM boards and they feel great.

Making a kit for a board that didn’t start out being EC would depend on the “who” is involved with the project. If they’re folks who’ve been working with EC boards for a while, I’d have a great deal of hope it would work out great. Otherwise, if it’s a one-off or their first go, I’d be extremely hesitant.
That said, I’m looking forward to Seneca as well.

kinda experience with my Matrix ME EC kit.
the plate is FR4 and very flexible.
after putting everything together and plugging it in, I had key chatter in n,m, 1, 2 keys.
After flexing/twisting the plate and pcb around, the key chatter went away.
The plate is thin too compared to the traditional steel plate. I ended up using gasket stickers.

Now that you have them in person, what do you think of em?
At first glance they’re gorgeous, and I love the matching tray. Unsurprisingly a lot like Pyga - which means comfortable doubleshot ABS keycaps that are of course not immune to shine.
I love the colors. The gold flakes and warm cream work so well with the dark, warm grape-y purple.

Do you mean the mystery switches? I think a few of us have purchased those. The general consensus is that it’s not worth the money. There are a lot poorer quality switches that you can get from them.
I see he mentioned they have TTC switches in the mix. I’ve not seen anyone get those so far. If they do, it would probably be TTC Wild or Matrix. Those are the two that they have sold. Although I did get some switches from them that they never offered for sale. They looked like they were from a personal collection. lol

There the guy wrote a lot that he bought 25 packages))) and all 25 are TTS. But what model it is is unknown.
