Finally got my JJ50! I know it isn’t a Preonic, but I am happy to finally get my HP’s into a board. These are place holder keycaps for SA Laser so try not to judge too hard on the beige spacebar :grimacing:

Edit: Forgot to mention I converted the board to hotswap with 0305-2 sockets.

Black B-stock Tofu and Deskeys #3 Topre Ring for my HHKB. Although B-stock, it took me awhile to find the flaw. I should have added tire weights after cutting the center posts but shrug.

Thanks! Trash/Red Holy Pandas lubed with 3203 for the switches, MK Ultra plate & case foams, GMK Jamon sitting on top. Should be building it this weekend, will do a log when I do to share here!

Got my Old School USB C from Zap. Messed up and ordered C instead of mini :skull_and_crossbones:. I’ll find a use for it though.

Got my GMK Korean Beige add on kit in today, way earlier than expected too! Matched it up with Jamon’s modifiers, the num row & punctuation keys from a ePBT set till I can get a GMK BoW num row & punctuation keys, & a black GMK spacebar. All in all I actually really like the way this combo looks. Gonna have to mess around matching it with a few other sets to see what i can come up with.

A few days late to share this, but I changed my mind and sprung for JP AEK II keycaps for my Lunar AEK 65%.

I also dropped off the Lunar at a local shop yesterday to Cerakote it. Asked for H-400, which looks like the body (not the cylinder or barrel) of this:

Nice pickups indeed! I wonder if Cyan’s alpha’s match the Korean beige add-on kit? I saw drop had Oco sets on there again & Cyan is one of them. Not only would that get me the numrow & punctuation keys I need for the Korean beige kit, but Cyan is a awesome looking set I have always wanted!

Not sure one that one, Korean beige wasn’t something that really interested me. I do have to agree the cyan does look great though. I actually picked it up directly from Oco, it’s in stock over there right now.

I’m pretty sure the color codes for both are available, I just gotta look it up. I’ve almost pulled the trigger on Cyan & Red Honey direct from Oco a few times, the Oco tax is real & stings though. They are a little bit cheaper when they sell them on Drop, I guess that’s Oco’s equivalent of having a sale, LOL!

On Wednesday a Varmilo VA87M “Panda” with Cherry MX Silent Blacks (as replacement for a Ducky×Varmilo MIYA Pro “Panda” where I wasn’t happy with the layout and programmability) and a IKBC Table E401 arrived after being 6 days late thanks to UPS not being able to deliver to PO boxes and not accepting my credit card to pay import taxes online in advance.

But the keyboards still arrived in time for the Swiss Mechanical Keyboard Meetup this Sunday.

I went back and forth on deep space and then by the time I decided I wanted it it was gone, I figured I better get these while they were there

My Halo Trues from Drop arrived. Trying to decide what lube to order for my Holy Mints

I really like Tribosys3203 with my “insert name here” Pandas since it takes a very small bite out of the tactility unlike other heavier greases. 3204 will work well also, but take bigger bite out of the tactility IME. I’m about to start lubing some trash & red pandas for my E6.5 build today too, I’m gonna go with 3203 for the housings & stems. Then I’ll be using TX’s spring lube that comes with their packs of springs for them. I previously used Krytox VPF1415 for my springs, but have heard only good things about TX’s spring lube. So I figure I might as well try it out since I’m gonna be swapping 70g TX springs into the Pandas anyways.
