Ordered 80 choc purpz. Been enjoying these with 50g sprit springs swapped in. Yes, I could buy choc reds at 50g stock, but… the purpz are purple and have a smokey housing, and I’m a sucker for that.

I just saw several QK100 builds at a meetup. A fairly large portion of my DIY builds are 1800 influenced, as are several of my low end gamery boards, so I am in no shortage of compact keyboards with numpad. And yet I was still tempted to put in an order. It seems really nice and a good value.

What switches do you plan on putting on it? And what caps?
I’ve decided on MTNU 800, but I’m not sure about switches yet.
Recently ordered MTNU Space Cadet together with the last novelty kit. This will be the perfect fit for my cream W1-AT.

After proof of concept with one switch using the 3D printed one, I ordered an aluminum switch opener, more 80g springs, and a better knob for the Tide65. I’d put some older “CSA” in a blue samurai clone colorway on it, and I liked the feel (underrated budget choice, IMHO, though the shine sure comes on quick for “PBT” double shot…) but not the color match with the light purple, so I think I’m going to throw BOW in the same profile on it after the spring swap, and that will be it as a sub-$50 all-aluminum build, at least until I tear it apart someday to test the split-spacebar electronics.

I really like the look of this. Price seems good too. I think the play is definitely HHKB though. Been a while since I used that layout. I think now that I am working remotely at home, it would be a lot easier to convert too than when I tried in the past.
Blue is killer and true Ramune style, but I like the silver and pink as well. I find it hard not to just get silver boards, cause they pretty much work with any keycap color way.

Another 108 batch of TP x Alexotos Granites since I like them so much. Wanted to get some Classic Blues too as I’m sure those are great also, but not in the cards financially for me this week. That’ll have to go on next weeks pay LOL!

I got mine today. I put them in my F1-8x. I like the feel a lot but they are not as loud as I wanted. Probably because of the gasket mounting. I think I’ll try them in something top or sandwich mounted next.

Yeah they do tend to be a little muted in the F1, it suits my preference but I get it if it’s a little muted for your liking. I think they’ll really shine in a proper top mount boards! The other reason (beyond just really liking them) I got another batch was for my Spyder which should be getting shipped out in the next week or so.

Made a big purchase yesterday but I think it’s a great choice. I joined in the LZ SE:ALBC group buy at the last second. It’s very expensive but it’s aluminum bronze casting and it’s LZ. I can’t think of a better reason to shell out money. I’ve gone for an aluminum and a PC plate. Contemplating stainless steel addon…

Ordered 220 of those Keygeek Blue Cheese V2s since I’ve heard great things about them & they are another super deep sounding switch from KG too. I also got lucky & snagged the last set of Keybay’s Maiz stabs with the new plastic wires! Been pretty interested in them since I seen Monaco Keys selling them. Tried to grab some from them, but unfortunately Monaco Keys doesn’t ship to the US. Glad to see Keybaytech carrying them!
