Super nice. I’d say its a tad below a JWK in smoothness, but it sounds so much better.

Cherry linears have always had a really nice sound to my ears when lubed. Too bad I don’t like any of the stock weightings, and don’t really want to start fiddling with spring swaps and all that.
Spring swapping really isn’t a hassle if you’re opening up the switch to lube anyway.

yeah, especially given that most stock springs, especially in cherry switches, contribute to spring crunch and ping pretty substantially, whereas some sprit springs both sound and feel amazing.

Why bother when I can just get a switch that has the desired spring weight in the first place? I don’t care THAT much about sound.
Logic am I rite lol
All I’m saying is I don’t consider buying a switch for the sound, then buying springs for the switch, then spring swapping the switch worth it for myself over just buying the switch with correct spring weighting in the first place.
GMK Ursa extras arrived yesterday! I think I found the ultimate combo for my Vega. I’m almost hesitant to use this set and shine it up. But, keysets are meant to be used after all and so it’s going on my desk today.

So this isn’t mechanical but it is a curio I got off eBay. How could I resist a keyboard with a speaker built in!?
No idea about the switches but they’re tough old sods to use. Nice tactile feeling and I really like the round keycaps.
Probably the second full size keyboard I have - being a 60% evangelist most of the time this one takes up almost all of my desk. Still… couldn’t resist.

Did you deem it necessary to film Glorious Pandas or is it simply part of your Zen ritual? 
My batch of GPs has virtually no top wobble, it‘s really tight.
