Nice but yes the contrast between alphas and mods is a little bit to high.
edit: my bad, didn’t read properly.
shame, especially with the delays (soon forgotten), but it is what it is
Btw, the set is really clean and beautiful !
Lovely! Thank you for sharing. I had a feeling the way to go would be Kailh hotswap sockets.
One week into using an ortholinear layout. Loving it so far. Box Jades, brass plate, and a mix of spare keycaps.
I love the handwiring artwork
Decided to pull this beast out today since it’s been awhile since I’ve used it. Almost forgot how nice & soft (not flexy) OG Cherry boards can be. The plastic case & plateless design definitely have unique feel compared to enthusiast boards we are mostly used to. I do put a sheet of shelf liner under t he PCB of all my Cherry boards as it makes them sound a ton better IMO, but has very little effect on typing feel. Maybe makes it a tiny bit softer than stock.
I’m so digging the space cadet vibes. Sweet.
Killer wiring - would be right at home on reddit’s “cable porn” subforum dedicated to aesthetically pleasing wiring and cable arrangements.

Is the Mesa the one with the low front height? This is one that I regret missing out on. Looks great.
It is! Still have been going back to it after the mandatory new-build-gotta-use phase of newer boards .
¿What keycaps are those?
Now that is what I call a real custom keyboard.
So nice!
