What weight switches does it have? I adore my 30g 980c. I know people probably think that’s crazy light, but it’s one of the more unique feeling switches in my collection, and certainly not too light for the average user.

It has some 45g domes from a realforce. I typically up my boards to 55 but this one has been a good weight. Definitely doesn’t have the same feel as a realforce, in a good way. Definitely going to be staying in my collection

Yeah the 980 has a really nice feel compared to my other Topre boards. I think it’s something about the overall size, but I’m not sure. I will say, it’s every BETTER when you put it in a heavy-9 case. Oh, man. heavy-9 is the best feeling Topre experience out there. Yep, I said it.
The top mount gives it a unique flex/bounce that feels and sounds amazing. Even the 980m feels really nice in the heavy-9 shell.

I’ve gotta let my wallet recover for a bit but heavy 9 is next in my sights. Probably my last keyboard purchase for a while

Baader-Meinhof phenomenon is strong on Topre for me lately. Investigated a bit and now all I see is Topre posts! Now I’m more curious and my wallet is shaking.

Just a heads up, if you press right shift + left shift + 1 (something I apparently do a lot when I use “!!!”) it will brick the bottom alphas for… reasons? (Fixed by unplug)
To fix this you just need to:
unplug the board → press and hold space+n → plug in the board → release space+n
This performs some kind of reset which fixes whatever caused it.
