I’d love to have Aperture Priority without the excessive novelty design in the base set. Unique font choice with a nice white on black and some yellow on black to accent.

I’m itching to try PBS too, but I haven’t really landed on a set to buy for some reason…there are parts of a lot of sets I like and don’t like. I figure something will come along, but then I try to pressure myself into getting blanks, and I still don’t have PBS

Figured why not since it was on sale & all the beige DCS caps I currently have are OG ones that came on vintage boards. One can never have to much DCS or beige keycaps!

I didn’t order anything on sale. I kept putting stuff in my cart here and there but it was nothing compelling enough to finish checking out.
I did, however, pick up a blackout Minerva LX. I have one in beige already and it sounds great. I figured black would be versatile.
Ill get to see how different the carbon fiber plate sounds and feels from aluminum on this board

I’ve been finding less to spend on lately – and frankly it’s probably time to break down or donate some less-loved pre-builts and projects – but I did make one final(?) pass through the sad and dusty clearance bin of SP keysets at Drop and grabbed a TKL’s worth of SA Laser for $33 shipped. I may use them to replace the no-name WOB Cherry that I have on my modded Epomaker 65%. I can raid my Mitospeed leftovers to get split-spacebars, and the knob and encoder combo I had on hand to “fix” Epomaker’s was a bit tall, so going high profile will save me from my own very bad ideas about when and how to use a bench grinder.

I am on the fence about ordering PT750 for 1/2 off. I am kinda glad they are selling out of colors I wanted. OTOH, I’ve been checking out all the cool macro pads that came out since my hiatus. There are some nice ones like the Voice Mini and Doys.

I would greatly appreciate if someone could suggest a new silent linear switch, regular spring length, medium weight (like Gat Yellows), preferebly a bit firm, one that has good off-center smoothness.
I’ve been off the keyboard world for quite some time (almost 2 years) and I can assume there are countless new switches, brands and trends and I don’t know where to start.
Edit: I’ve seen HMX all over, is it the leading brand now?
BTW I’ve been using the Outemu Silent Peach v3 for past 2 years, they have been fine so far, my review here still stands, though factory lube has seem to be worn off a bit.

I bought some BigLucky Tactiles. The design sounds interesting and they are normally a little pricy (a very subjective term in this hobby I know), but Divinikey had them on sale so I bit.
For once my wallet was spared on Black Friday.

I was planning on jumping on the Nuxros +84 and then NK drops this.
So I guess I’m buying two keyboards on Friday

Was able to snag a bundle of 6 Commodore drop-in replacement keyboards for a lower-than-average price, so I went for it. I’m curious to compare the light keycaps to the dark ones. Both are the older variant with front PETSCII legends (as opposed to top legends).
I suppose it’s risky sharing this given that I may have been bidding against one (or several) of you on here!

I didn’t check their discord closely when they made these announcements but isn’t the Unobtainium Blue just for their new GMK set that is coming out, not a clear blue variant of their Classic-GLO boards or are they also releasing a blue Classic-GLO board color.
I’m not on Discord at all, so no idea. I figured it was the later, as the picture shows a Classic TKL with the GLO logo.
Ahh gotcha, yea I believe it is just for their GMK CYL Unobtainium Blue keycap set (which I believe turned out pretty nice especially with how Novelkeys/Ron themed the novelties are), but I could be wrong.

Been eyeing up these TX artisan cases for min now. Definitely one of the more unique ones out there as it comes with a stand to have it sitting vertically & even has RGB lighting LOL! Probably should’ve ordered during the BF sale, but it only had a $5 discount for that so not like I missed out on huge savings there.
